Description:  Writing is a great form of self expression! Your student will explore a number of forms of poetry, proverbs, comics, short stories, journaling, newsletters, scrapbooks, plays, nature journaling, descriptive writing, and song writing. We will explore literary examples of the work we are going to create, including Bible verses. We will discuss grammar, spelling, and vocabulary but the main focus of the class will be writing. At the end of the year, we will put together a collection of works in a junior literary magazine.
