High School Chemistry
Description:
This course is designed
to acquaint the student with the fundamentals of Chemistry. Laboratory experience
will supplement the material in the book and lectures. Quizzes will be given
each week to help the student keep up with the chapters. Mid terms and finals
will also be given at the end of each term. Each student will need a calculator
(scientific preferred), goggles and a lab apron. Each student is expected
to hand in homework assignments and laboratory experiments. The course is
designed to keep the interest of the student and give him/her an appreciation
for logical thinking coupled with good observation. We will meet for three
hours each week with a combination lecture and lab. 1 ½ high school
credits.
