Our website is current with group classes offered, and we have 24 instructors who offer private lessons in voice and most instruments to students of all ages and abilities. We can create a group class for 4 or more students if there is interest, and we have done this for several schools.
Homeschool students in grades 8-12 will enjoy two opportunities to play with other students from around the area, including the Peninsula. The Hampton Roads Chamber Ensemble, which we co-sponsor this year, is for string students and includes teachers from the Virginia Symphony. The Hampton Roads Youth Wind Ensemble, our largest group of between 40-50 students for woodwind, brass, and percussion, is offered in the spring and this year the guest director will be ODU Marching Band Director Alex Trevino.
